He's on the main roster and is indeed in the APEX demo.

You can check the official Crusade stream if you wanna see gameplay of him. Day 1 Pt. 1 at around 9:25 (as in 9 hours) you can see some lawyer action.

Actually they asked me if they could use my Wright sprites and I told them "Sure, you're free to use them if you'd like."

Well that's pretty much your answer right there if you were actually serious.

If you're ever going to consider working on roster art, you probably shouldn't jump onto it at the last second and should have just used renders instead for v0.9. It's not bad but it's not really in a better graphic-state. That doesn't take away the polish the menu has to offer which i like alot.

well if you think the art sucks I don't know what to tell you. One thing's for sure though, there's no way we're going to use internet renders again.
