All that does is prove my point further. Do you recall how long I have been in the pixel business? One year. Not 5. One. One and a half if you want to get picky. Worse, I don't even consider myself a pixel artist. I'm an animator at heart, a much more complicated, yet also more concrete, business. The fact that I can take a quick foray into pixel art and come out as successful as I have really shatters any of your own self-testimony to pieces.

Editing sonic sprites does not give you a sense for anatomy, actually learning and working on anatomy does. Taking life drawing classes. Studying the proportions and ratios of the human form. Actually doing it for yourself, not having it done for you.

Palette selection is not as simple as it may seem. There are a number of subtleties beyond picking a color that isn't eye-stabby. Of course anyone can develop a good sense of it on their own, just they need to spend time actually developing it.

I'm saying, take the stairs all the way to the roof, not the elevator to only the second floor. They're faster, they take you higher, and you get stronger on the path of getting there.

Now,

Yusei is good. Jaden's eyes don't match him much.

But it does give you the anatomy of a Sonic-styled Hedgehog, which is basically what Neox is.

Jaden is stubby...

On jadens right leg (on our left) the shading looks akward.

But it doesn't give you REAL anatomy, which is what you should be learning in order to stylize it into a sonic style hedgehog. And you don't even learn sonic style anatomy as well as if you had been doing it for yourself.

He has a head, Body, Arm, Legs, Shoulders, Feet, Hands, Does that sound familiar to you?


Edit: Also, I have seen your sprites.

I don't think 1 Year is enough, Your sprites suck quite a bit of a**.
So stop criticizing others an get your own lazy a** in gear.

Do I look like a pixel artist to you? I'm an animator, not a spriter! All my work is scattered bits from here and there that I deemed above average.
