Now that's just ridiculous, being experienced has nothing to do with understanding others point of view and you of all people should know good Crit has some energy or effort put in to support it.


If anyone went to work with the criticism "Does not make sense" They would just run in circles trying to fix anything that did or did not work.

Then you are saying that you didn't know the problem because the animation and motion blur made sense to you. When it actually doesn't. I don't give effort in my crit anymore. I am just too lazy right now, this entire later half of 2010. Maybe this is what happens when you enter college. :/

All I see of it is that the blur doesn't follow the exact arc the sword would have, not being smooth all around.

Well the action is not fast enough to create such a large blur that makes it looks like the blur is her hand transformed into a blur-looking arm.

Though I do foresee the blur serving a purpose. You see, the one great flaw about JUS is the WAY it's animated leaving much... just out of the animation, thus having no collision with other objects in games and movies, so I can see this being useful. Besides, I think it will work quite well when fixed a little bit, after all spriting, as in all forms of art, is not formulaic.

Also, with your traced drawing; her feet make her look kind of unstable. Try shifting the legs around a bit so she has a stronger pose, if you get what I mean.

I'm not sure if I should take that as a compliment or not

The drawing/sketch definitely has balance issues but I think the sprite fixed the worst of it
