So does anyone like the improvement I made to my art style? I tried really hard to out do my past work.

Here it is just a bit bigger but with less of the image. It' actually still scaled down quite a bit but this allow better viewing. I just want to know one thing, did I over do the colors again? Is my work still too colorful?

It looks as if you're constantly editing it on an image modify program like photoshop constantly, not allowing the colors of the pixel art speak out for themselves.

Sometimes, it does work out as expected but not on this image. I see constant glows and dark spots everywhere on places that shouldn't be there. In terms of pixel art, it's looks good... But it's destroyed by what looks like all this photo edit garbage on it

The perspective is actually pretty wonky; most notably the purple building. Furthermore there are some very dirty spots with what looks like leftovers from other images, but this should be an easy fix.

In therms of pixel art this is pretty simplistic, but aside from the red circles I kinda like what you did with the glow in some places.

It mostly depends on what you're aiming for. If it's a casino town like Vegas then it's good to show a lot of neon colors. If it's just supposed to be a normal town you probably want to stick to a few colors for all the buildings.

@Mai it's not pixel art at this point, so I wouldn't judge it as such unless he's specifically going for pixel art.

I assumed it was just a part of his creative liberty slash fantasy setting. With (pixel) art you don't neccesarily have to stick to realism so yeah.

I've made another mistake. It turn out that very large one is a scaled picture of this one without the last updates. This version right here is actual size....

Steven is right the pixel art was made simple. I could have gone with something a bit more....complex but didn't. You would be surprise how simple this looks without the effects. So is the perspective wonkey or just a single building?

'Simple' is not always a bad thing though.

And yeah it's the purple building. I assume this was just a slight slip-up but it should be an easy fix.

Thinking about doing more sprite experiments. This time around I'm feeling something more on the line of armor or pieces of armor. I can't describe it, you'll see it in a few weeks. Just wanted to say this.
