You're right; I placed Mario at the center of Battlefield and tested this out for myself. Counting every line after the first and centermost line, Mario lands between lines 8 and 9 on Battlefield when Bowser shoots right. However, Mario lands between lines 12 and 13 when Bowser shoots left, indicating significantly stronger base knockback.

Tbh imo, I think Bowser is fine as he is with his forward air, I don't really think it needs a nerf. To me bowser looks like a good character with good maybe op moves as a trade off for being a giant hurt box.
That's just what I think. Also isn't the only real problem ppl have fighting bowser is his up throw up air combo?  I play meta knight mostly so I may not know how other players like sonic, peach, dk and others feel about it when fighting bowser. But I think you can shield really fast and punish most his moves, no? Edit: I'm not saying anything about his up airs, just mostly all his other moves. Wow his side b can cause a tie? I haven't used it yet in an actual match but when i just tried it in practice, they seem to lose their stocks at the same time. Imo that would need a little change, he seems really easy to kill with, but again I think it's a good thing since he seems like combo food to me at-least lol. _________________ Mains:  and  Practicing:    |

I honestly see Bowser as the worst Character atm. All of his smash attacks have high end lag and startup. All of his Aerials have high landing lag and you can't SH Autocancel any if his aerials from my experience. His only good move is Up special but that's it. His Up B is better in SSF2 than in any other smash game however.

Bowser is definitely not even close to the worst. He has insane kill power, a couple fast moves in neutral, enormous range, a decent recovery, and a 1-frame OoS option (is that still 1 frame like Melee?)

Found a neat little Bowser tech: sliding U-tilt ledge cancel. Just perform a sliding U-tilt near the ledge and Bowser will snap to ledge. Especially since it feels like the game lets us get off edge faster, I believe this U-tilt can combo into U-air at certain percents on certain characters. Obviously situational, but neato nonetheless. Here's the vid:

I find it interesting how they made bowser taunts do actual damage AND knockback. Could even be used to stop approaches if done right(which I have done once)
