It's been awhile since my last news update, so here's 2 and a half new music updates that you can check out in the Music section of my site. Enjoy! :)

In other News: I'd like to announce that SSF2's popularity this year has nearly exceeded that of the original SSF with over 70,000 daily plays! At this rate I predict that once v0.8 is released the game's popularity will finally surpass the original game with more than 100,000 daily plays!

Current status for v0.8:

The Devs and I have been working our hardest on v0.8 as the summer comes to a close. As an estimate, I think the next demo will be completed some time in October. This version of the game is another giant step in production, so it will be packed with changes to make the game even more fun than it already is. There is still a lot of coding and testing to be done, so I can't give a more accurate release date just yet. Please keep an eye open for further news.

Lastly, expect some special info soon related to SSF2 that will get you pumped for the next release!

And please post music feedback here! Be sure to have this on your screen while you listen to the new Bits for Breakfast song:

FIRST!
It's strange how ssf2 demos didn't already exceed the original in daily plays. Considering how good the demos are. I guess it's the lack of modes or something.

Second! Could've been first but I thought it was locked.

Keep up the good work DEVs and I bet the info is roter info. I would listen to the music but my computer doesn't have sound.

I agree. Some demos should have more modes. It'll spice the daily play value up. But we know that the devs are working on that. viewtopic.php?f=4&t=795

Keep it up, devs. ;)

And Mcleod, If possible, try and get more devs it'll speed up the progress.

How well did that go for 0.7? Was Ness and Saturn Valley too much?

Loved Bits for Breakfast, but I'm not surprised about SSF2

Im pretty sure no one cares if you are first.

Hah, loved that Bits for Breakfast one! It's just so energetically retro, and the upbeat bass line was a perfect fit.
Ignota Origine sounded quite epic in scale for its short length, but it eventually became somewhat repetitive. However, the clever mix of instruments more than made up for it.

Good luck with the demo Cleod. Also, I though Bits for Breakfast was a pretty cool piece.

Wow to be honest I never would've guessed it was 70,000 daily... Is this including download plays?
