The joke is that the sidekick is the real super hero. I don't think an hour or so of the movie trying to get the joke across is worth my time or money.

Didn't expect Seth Rogen to play the Green Hornet. I'd rather watch this than Green Lanturn, the trailer looked lame to me.

Well, the hero has a gas gun at least. And it isn't his fault, it just so happened that they casted Bruce Lee as Kato, and it went on from there.

I was actually pissed when I heard about this.
The Green Hornet is one of my favorite radio programs, and this just doesn't fit with the spirit of the original.
So yeah, me being anal and complaining.

It's a drama. No comedy, very serious.
Similar to Dragnet, with Dragnet of course being more realistic (no super cars).
New one really spits in the original's face with Seth Rogen, who really isn't that funny to begin with, trying to be funny in what looks like another bland movie.
