I think that if they wanted to do American football, they would have done so a while ago. I'm kinda hopin' they don't, but yeah I'm sure it wouldn't be too bad. |

The possibilities for an american "football" Mario game are really low, most of those kind of sports get in compilations of various sports games (thanks to Mario Sports Mix, there wouldn't be a Mario hockey, dodgeball and volleyball), there could be another Mario basketball game (thanks to Mario Hoops 3-on-3), but with the mediocre reception from Mario Sport Mix, I really doubt that could happen. American "football" is not popular in Japan, which could mean only a western company would make a game like that, but this isn't clearly the case as association football (a.k.a. what some call "soccer") is very popular in Japan, yet the Mario football games were made by Next Level Games, a western company, who were going to make a Mario volleyball game for the Wii but got cancelled. Baseball is very popular in Japan and we got two games courtesy from Namco Bandai, but we all now Namco Bandai is japanese, so...
