Believe me or not , but uncountable times , I was trying to get back to stage with the Side-B , instead of going away from it.
One word made it impossible : Mario. Mario's Side-B + Wario's Side-B= D-E-A-T-H.

In my opinion, Shoulder Bash should be cancellable (cancellable?cancel-able?cance-lel-able?idk.) if crouched , just like in Wario Land 4, it would offer a little slide, tricking the opponent.

That's freaking op. But, considering the amount of hate :wario: has gotten in the competitive scene, it would make him higher tier than :metaknight: .

Does chaining Chomp to Chompcide guarantee trading stocks against DK at nearly any percent? It seems like you could just get a lead and then trade the rest.

Yes. Chomp chains into itself if you throw your opponent against a wall , because the opponent will most likely bounce off the wall, but it can be teched. I will send an example of it later.

First of all, stages with walls are usually banned for a good reason, this being one of them. What you described isnt even a Chompcide by any means, so I kinda doubt your replay would be that useful for TCS.

I mean chaining Chomp into Chomp on flat stages, as I believe works for DK (although your responses are telling me this doesn't work if you DI properly?). At least in Training Mode (very convincing I know), you can just Chomp -> dash SH Chomp -> repeat x3 -> Chomp into the abyss.

One crazy idea I had last night: Make his Side-B be Wario Bike and have his neutral special be Shoulder Bash.
I honestly was never a big fan of Chomp to be honest :chibirobo:

Changing Bash to Bike and possibly D-smash to Brawl/WiiU/3DS D-Smash is gonna need a whole new resprite

On another note, still think 0.9b pummel is awesome and we should get a better looking "Shake It" pummel for beta

Nah, Shoulder Bash has been his most iconic move ever since his first playable appearance (Wario Land: 1993) in contrast to his bike that was just added in Wario Ware (2003) and only gained recognition after Brawl's trailer.
Unlike those two, Chomp doesn't really have much inspiration, you could argue it's based on Wario's Hyper Suction from Wario World, but that move isn't nowhere near as iconic as the other two I mentioned.
Yeah, yeah, Chomp is useful for follow-ups, combos and all that stuff, but that doesn't really matter to the casual Smash Player that happens to be a bookworm in all things Nintendo.

I'm really starting to think competitive SSF2 is ruining SSF2. (Before it didn't really matter that much because filthy casuals like me could just ignore it and go on playing with items on Bowser's Castle, but now that the game itself is changing characters' movesets to fit around competitive players, it's really starting to worry me).

So basically, I'm dropping Wario from my mains, the only thing I didn't like about his 0.9b iteration were his sprites that just needed polishing. He felt just right in my opinion.
