I have encountered a hacker on the SSF2 online mode. He goes by the username cp21. As Link, his boomerang traps the opponent the entire time the boomerang is active, and causes the opponent to start falling every time he is hit. Basically, if you are hit by the boomerang once, the boomerang carries you off the map for a horizontal KO. Please ban this user. He is also a troll, but that is not why I'm requesting that he be banned from the game.

This isn't a hack. This is the Gale part of Gale Boomerang. It's a trapping windbox, and if he's not catching it, it can carry you offscreen provided you don't SDI/DI out of it.

I know it's a hack because whenever the opponent is hit, he starts his falling animation. So if the boomerang suddenly ends for whatever reason, the opponent will start falling. I forgot to add that part.

When you say falling, do you mean tumbling, or becoming helpless? Because the former is completely normal, whereas the latter would be a hack.

So heres the deal. If he was hacking, his hacks would only appear on his computer. The only way you would be affected is if he somehow went to your house and modified your data folder.

That's what I was thinking. Next time I encounter him, I'll be sure to try to get recording.
