Yeah, when you beat the game the first time you get to TVHM (google it) when you're in this mode DON'T do any side mission until you BEAT the main story FOR A SECOND TIME. This will unlock a "Play through 2.5" and EVERYTHING is scaled to level 50+ and so is the missions and mission rewards, just so you know.

(TVHM is f*** hard as hell if you're alone like me but I'm a G so I can do it)

I've only played Pirate's Booty so far but I liked it a lot. I guess it depends on what exactly you're looking for in the DLC. For me it was another excuse to play the game with my friends again, so I had a good time.

You clearly never played TVHM on solo when you're not level 50 and don't have all that amazing loot from your co-op sessions.


You loose your 10,000 shield capacity in 2 shots from a bandit, bosses two shot you, with their multi attacks.

Bandits almost never miss their shots, health regeneration is way too slow to do anything useful in a battle, yeah, it's pretty f*** hard.

TVHM+ with the Bee is kind of easy, even with the nerf.

What if you don't have the Bee shield.

Explain how you grind level 30's if you're a level 40 then. As no one is past that in the normal mode.

Yeah but you're meant to get those legendary guns in TVHM when they're level 50's, dude, and if you're the one over levelling to the caliber of doing level 35 missions at level 40 in the normal mode (of which you must have played co-op to get even more EXP than the usual) and have no challenge what so ever doing even more level 35-40 quests of a level of 50, then you're the one not taking any risks and it is very, very easy. (Normal mode is a breeze if you do the side quests as they come along as you'll level up very rapidly, of which I did, but for TVHM I'm saving all those quests for PT 2.5 so everything is level 50)

Do you not strive for challenge? Wouldn't killing everything in one or two buckshots be boring?

Sure as s*** it'd be boring for me.

i like when challenge is part of a game, not when I have to go out of my way to make it harder
