That option exists. It's called turning off the volume when you're in the menu.

Update: Went on the eshop today and picked up Mega Man 2 for a buck fifty and got the Snake Eater theme for 2 dollars.

Can't say I'm surprised the music is the instrumental Snake Eater version from Brawl, but oh well- it's still a great theme.
It has cardboard box folders, the little beep whenever you move the cursor to another application, and the confirmation sound too.

It's better than the other themes out right now imo.

You can't change case in the XL in japan. I don't see what's wrong there unless they don't plan on releasing the normal one

They didn't say anything about the non-XL one in the NA Direct but they did in the European Direct (and even showed off some cool faceplates available at launch)

I think it's safe to assume NA is only getting the XL

It's only £10 more than getting just the normal New 3DS so you'd be silly not to go for it

The bad news is, Club Nintendo is shutting down. On March 31, you will no longer be able to make an account.
The good news is, as a token of appreciation, all Club Nintendo members will get a special download code in February.
That code is for Flipnote Studio 3D. Yes. The one that's been delayed overseas for almost two years or so.

So if you have a 3DS, or you were ever thinking of getting a 3DS, you need to make sure you have a Club Nintendo account right now, so you can make your own 3D movies for the world to see.
