I also feel Big the Cat had a lot of space to improve and grow.

I think his fishing gameplay was kinda off in a Sonic game, but I liked him in Heroes. While he may not be my favourite Sonic character ever, I think Big had/has a very friendly and solid concept.

This is something short of an outrage. Why bother taking the time deconfirming a character that nobody expected to appear anyway? It's not like they ever 'retired' Fang, Bean or Polar, but we all know that they won't be returning. Dat logic. It's flamebaiting.

Well, the thing was that Big and Big specifically was brought up in an interview with Ken Balough. Ken Balough's favorite character was Big, so he was kinda sad to hear that he wont be appearing in any Sonic Team games.

And listen, I know most of us here love Big, but you guys have to realise there are TONS AND TONS of people who dislike him. Thats why he's getting cut. A short minority LOVE him while everyone else hates him.

However, he still has a chance of appearing in non-Sonic Team developed games like Sonic & All-Stars Racing: Transformed, it's just that Takashi Iizuka said that he wont be using him anymore in Sonic games. So fingers crossed for All-Stars Racing Transformed!

Yeah but the thing is Silver can use his telekinesis to fly at extremely fast speeds, making him workable into the modern formula. I seriously doubt we'd ever see Big boosting through stages at super sonic speeds.

Can Silver really fly that fast with his telekinesis? I dont ever remember him doing so in any main sonic series games (Riders doesnt count).

on another apparently silver is fast on foot as well in sonic rivals 2 silver could keep up with everyone
