Yeah, but nobody's got it as bad off as Roxas. I mean in order for him to exist either Sora or Ven has to go into a coma or turn into a Heartless. Which causes two problems, as Sora's too important (much as I'd like to see the dumbass be wiped from the series), and Aqua's entire goal is to get Ven and Terra back to their old selves. Additionally, even if the three could co-exist Roxas wouldn't be able to use the keyblade since he dual-wields Sora and Ven's.

What about the whole business with all the Nobodies eventually regrowing their hearts, though?

If that's the case, Roxas and maybe even Xion might have a chance of enduring as their own separate entities, It seemed like Roxas, at least, had a heart by the end of Days, if Sora's line in 3D is any indication.

The other thing I keep hearing about is the possibility of Roxas returning by becoming part of Ventus. i.e.: Roxas's memories and experiences taking the place of Ventus's from the time when his heart was asleep. This is problematic though, because a big part of Roxas's character has been wanting to be his own separate entity from Sora, and assumedly Ventus as well.

If this is supposed to resolve everything in the Xehanort Saga, then I feel like Roxas will be brought back as his own person at least, because it will resolve his conflict. And my wishful thinking is that Xion will get brought back by some means as well, since we at least know that all traces of her didn't vanish, since Sora was able to see her during the dream-ception business in the World of Sleep.
