Okay, imagine a world where streaming video games is illegal. Not counting the hundreds or thousands of streams dedicated to video games on justin.tv, ustream.tv or livestream, what about streams of major video game competitions like MLG or IEM? Those can attract more than 100k viewers, and are an easy way for newer players to get into the competitive aspect of certain video games, like Starcraft, Halo, COD, etc.
While it might be easy for a hardcore gamer of one of these big video games to find something to watch to satisfy them, newer gamers have no reason to do so. Not to mention I really doubt that if this bill were passed major corporations like MLG would still attempt to stream their video games. And this would f#%$& them over as well because a large part of their income comes from s**** on their streams.
