With most characters, it doesn't really matter as long as you avoid getting hit by fair. The only times this is a guaranteed kill is when you don't have the recovery to get back to stage after weak nair, and so for Fox and DK it's a guaranteed kill at low percents. As far as countering the tactic, it depends on how long you can wait. Some characters outrange Sheik's recovery and so can wait for Sheik to do something and then go around her, but for some characters they have to jump or up-B, and either one, if predicted or reacted to, is death for them.

If DK jumps, he gets hit by nair and dies. I don't think he has the ability to get around nair, and I don't think he has the recovery to get back after waiting it out. What am I missing?

I said he can armor through it with up b. I mean seriously I have hardly seen a DK, a good one at that die to any Sheik gimp.

Also I hardly see DK go anywhere when he is back thrown.

I actually think he can up air and have enough time to recover.

You die if you armor it, because you don't get enough height, especially if Sheik is at low % and grabs the ledge. You also die if you uair, although Sheik might need to grab the ledge for that.

What are you talking about? DK can rise using up b. Have you even played DK?

It's not Sheik that's getting destroyed, it's the Sheik mains that are dying.

I've picked up Shiek and I main her all the time now. I feel I might even like Sheik more than Sonic tbh. There's something really cool about her mechanics, not just how fast her attacks come out and how long the hitbox stays. I like how versatile the character can be, and I pull off tricks with Sheik way easier than my other mains.

so my question is, what do people think about Sheik? Does the community see her as super broken, like on the level of Tails of ZSS?

Anyway, Sheik's boring to play and her FAir is absurd. It probably is on my list of least favorite characters to deal with

I am a Sheik player, well known and a lot about her.

Hmmm some people thinks she is to easy to play and she is free.

I think so at low low to mid level, but at high level it becomes much harder to deal with certain characters.

I actually picked up Sheik as a counter pick for DK, but she was just so fun and I kept playing her. It's fun performing her set ups and everything.

That's the second time I've heard the term "free". What does that mean? You know, Tails and Kirby are easy too, but you need to put in a lot of work to master them.
