Discuss all Assist Trophies here.

Hmm. This should be interesting. I think this game has a lot of neat assist trophies, but some of them are kind of "meh". My personal favorites are the anime ones. They're just really useful. Also shout outs to Proto-Man and Silver. I hope we see even more assist trophies in beta. Specifically ones from lesser known Nintendo franchises such as Elite Beat and the Last Story (Assuming there franchise don't get represented by an actual character). I also didn't realize that the assist trophy got a new design. pretty sweat.

Resprites for our current AT's (as well as some new ones) in Beta would be lovely.

Hmmm wouldn't that increase how long it would take to sprite all those? By a lot?

^Yeah, well, take a look at Renji compared to Ichigo, or Proto Man compared to Megaman. Don't tell me those AT's match with their character counterparts.

I personally don't think that the ATs need that much work done to them. The anime ones probably just need to have the same treatment that Naruto, Goku, and Ichigo got. Though I do think Proto-Man needs a repsrite.

I'd also say that some of the ATs need an overhaul in what they do. Bandana Dee is kind of useless. All he literally does is walk around and jump a very short distance. I wish he'd throw spears or something. Others I think are just overkill. I personally think that Amigo stays out way to long and kind of kills the game for the other players cause there's no real way to avoid it. Plus he's extremely common unlike Silver.

I also think a lot of the ATs could probably benefit from the new effects that refurin is doing. Things like the destructo-dic and Proto-Man's blast could definitely use a touch up.

I agree in the Bandana Dee one, he was just a joke character in Super Star Ultra (most recent canon kirby game when he was introduced: 2010), but he became as competent as the main 3 Kirby protagonists in Return to Dream Land. So, yeah the current version we have is definitely not a proper representation of him.

Not yet, I've always wanted a White Mage AT too though.

It'd be cool if she casted like protect or cure randomly.
Protect reducing the amount of damage you take for however long, and cure obviously reducing your current percent by whatever set amount.

silver sucks imo. SDI destroys it. but I only play against computers so what do I know.

Sliver should say "IT'S NO USE!" "TAKE THIS" "IT?S NO USE???"

I wonder who's gonna replace Bandana Dee's spot as AT.

Oh, yeah. I almost forgot, wasn't Marx intended to be an AT VERY early on in SSF2's life? As in, pre-Retool?
