I'll put it this way; X7 is boring, X6 is frustrating. I would rather be bored then break my controller repeatedly. which I did during my X6 playthrough.

True, Gate Stage 2 can be frustrating, but you just need practice on having the energy balls hit Gate. Other than that, and some of the level design, X6 is a good game.

WHAT? X6 is bad. The nightmare effects are dumb, there is only ONE half-decent level (Rainy Turtloid) which is ruined by the nightmare effect. The game has terrible design, don't @ me. It literally screws you over on Gate Stage 2 if you use the Shadow Armor. And it is just bad.
don't defend X6 because ITS NO USE!
But seriously, pls don't try defending x6

True, but still I did break my control during both Metal Shark Player and Gate Stage 2.
Also, commander Yamarck has precision platforming over spikes with terrible visiblity. bad stage.

the MMX series is kinda hit or miss for me. 1 and 4 and 5 are cool, and i honestly kinda like 7, but the rest are either super forgettable or like, pretty bad. X4 is definitely the best in the series though
