And in adding something more to that, try don't resize (much) sprites, or them will look bad, also try to "kind" with the time or frame delay, to get a smoother animation and more realistic (in time/movement wise).

And yeah, practice is good, not much for animations, but for sprites it is. And to make it easier at the time you are animating, try to align the sprites before on paint (or whatever you are using), so you don't need to waste more time do while animate.

beneton would keep streching my images.
it also came out faster then it was for some reason.

Beneton make your computer work slower sometimes, it is the reason.

And the stretche thing is because you didn't cutted and aligned the images right, if you do that beneton will work fine.

Which is the easiest of them all? is Gimp good enough to animated and is it free?
plus one of the links had psyware on it because my blocker detected it.

Beneton is free, easy, and the best in my opinnion, it just have a glitch with the transparency than kill anyone...

It is hard to say, may be a false alarm.

Anyway, if it is just a adaware, you haven't a big problem.

I use Avast and Ad-Aware SE Personal, and I didn't find anything.

But if you're scared, use GIMP, it works too.

Sometimes, when I try to open a GIF in it, it "fuses" some of the frames together. At other times, it erases part of the animation.

Solutions?

This is a glitch in your program or in the program that made the animation by the first time, you just need to use another Animator, or wait for a new version of the actual.
And before someone ask... these animations are most of the time useless for SSF2, because when the file is open in flash, it gives the same problem. This is gerally related to transparency (at least on beneton), so, just don't use transparency.
