I really like the stages

Here is what I have so far for Bongo Bongo's Lair.
I still have to sprite two hands which would be platforms. They should move up and down.
Also need shading on the main platform.
The skulls need work too.
What do you think needs work?
I tried to make it look creepy.

What's the lightsource you are using?

The light source for the stage will be reddish, coming from bongo bongo's eye. For the background I just used Gimp to add a light beam coming down from the ceiling.

I sort of cheated for the background I guess. I used this image and edited it:


It's the painting/wall that you always encounter in the Shadow Temple.

So, credit to whoever made that painting.

Still needs work, but it's coming together okay I think.

I'd suggest making the stage a little bigger (or make the characters smaller)
The Hands look okay, but I find them a bit weird. I'm not sure what it is, but they look kinda weird.

They look a bit flat to me. I think he should try a custom pose for the hands. Maybe one could be slightly clenched.

I also see how you'd like them to be a stage hazard as platforms, but shouldn't you move Bongo Bongo closer to the actual characters for that?
