Serene just stared at Tania, the more she looked at the girl, the more she remembered her hate. Her eyes began to tear up "It's not fair!" she shouted at them "How come she gets to come back to life when there are people more deserving! Odinas was going to help the people of the world with his powers, HE SHOULD BE THE ONE ALIVE, NOT SOME GIRL WHO CAN'T DO ANYTHING FOR THIS WORLD!" She continued looking at them with anger, but brought her head down and muttered something after that. "And...if he lived...he could bring my mother back..."
J heard Julius' scream, but didn't put his book away, busy being captivated by the story of romance and betrayal in his book. He muttered along as he read. "Oh, Gwen, we could leave them and go out and live out lives. Just the two of us. Until the end of time." As he read along, he imagined what it would be like to settle down from his nomadic and wild lifestyle with a woman who loved him as much as he loved her.

OoC: Hell no. Odinas? No no no. Daryl. Seriously.

The pain remained. Nechis had fallen to the floor. Looking up, he noted that the cavalier had extended his arm, seemingly offering to help him up. Perhaps his original perception of the man had been incorrect. The young man accepted the help, quickly grabbing the hand. "Thank you for the water and the help." he said plainly. "I was definitely wrong about you." he continued. There were a few answers he would like to obtain from this conversation. "I haven't the slightest clue where we are. Is the whole group here?" Nechis asked, hoping that he could shed some light on the current situation. The young man didn't even know how long he had been out.

The minotaur calmed down having been persuaded by Lex, he lowered his weapon and sniffed.
"Small thing. Made of granite. Looks like a centaur. Might have been that damned witch who took it. I'll pay that wench a visit." He snorted as he walked in the other direction towards where the three had come from. Leon let out a huge sigh of relief. Lex was pretty handy, soo charasmatic. He was glad he would be able to avoid fighting for once.

Eton kneeled besides Serene and tried to calm her down. The innkeeper gave a glare and looked at them, not knowing what the hell they were talking about. He'd rather not know as it was going on about ressurecting. Were they necromancers?
"Quiet! Or you'll be out of here." He demanded. Tekun looked up at the man and glared back, the man retreated slightly recognizing that look in his eye. Black horizon, he would not speak against him, had a few survived after all.
"Serene, the ritual required several things, one being remains. We don't have any of his." Tekun said calmly. "I'm sorry."

As Tara passd through the hall, she passed a robed man, a scarf of some sorft over his face as well as a bandana. a shady character of some sort. He simply stood there, leaning against the wall. he next room lead to a tavern of somesort, one bussling with activity. Men and women of all sorts were here, a true melting pot. There was talk. Nearby one man spoke up louder then the rest at the man he was talking too.
"We can't just allow Seloi to invade Ari! It's absolutly disgusting. To suddenly invade such a weaker nation, they're power hungy."
"They do have no reason to be there. There may be more to it then you know."
The other one shut his mouth and looked away in disgust.

The creature continued to watch a horrified Julius as it tore off part of Charisma's biscept and beagn to chew on it and eat it. From there it grabbed her leg by the boot to look for another part to start eating. She hung limp, her eyes closed, part of her head was seperated, if not barely. Blood poured out of the opening and then dripped. It sniffed but then the body fell out of the boot and fell on to the ground like some kind of rag doll. It threw the boot away and then grabbed her leg and went back to what it had been doing before Julius showed up, however, it kept one eye on him yet.

Serene pulled her head up and spotted a shady man in the hallway. "Maybe, he can help me with my problem..." she thought to herself. "He could kill that unrighteous b**** for me..." She stood up and walked down towards the man, she looked at his clothes. As she neared him, she whispered something "You happen to know where I could find a Fireman? You seem like the perfect person..." she was smiling devilishly as she thought about the revenge she would be able to give.

Lex, dusted off his hands and strolled happily over to the stunned duo. "Satisfied, my friends? I told you, Leon, they're spiritual creatures. When there are others ways to solve things, they will more often than not take them." He let out a small laugh and studied the pages of his book once more before putting it away. "Perfect.. well, shall we?" He said, pointing off in no particular direction.

Alice heard an audible yell, from a familiar voice. She quickly sprinted to the origin of the yell, whilst pulling on her blindfold to avoid any obstacles. A few moments later, Alice nearly vomited from shock. Charisma was half eaten, and the beast who did it was about to attack Julius. She didn't say a thing, but it was noticeable to Julius she was a few feet behind him.
Even in the situation, she managed to say something straight from her feelings in that moment. ".. Are we going to run..? Or are we going to avenge.. her..?" she said. Alice was surprised at herself, how bluntly she just said it! She was ready if Julius chose the latter, and readied her dagger, slowly reaching for it with her right hand.

The man leaning against the wall got up from it, nearly fully masked other then his face and his unkempt greyish brown hair. He made a motion with his head that clearly meant "follow me." With that, he headed through the tavern to a door on the otherside and entered it.
Julius got up after Alice spoke up, though blunt, she was right, he couldn't allow this beast to desecrate her body and further. He drew his sword, though he was without a mount he would have to make due. He began to charge the beast, who now stopped chewing on the body and threw it to the side and let out a roar and readied himself for an attack.
Tekun watched Serene go off in a huff and then talk to a shady looking man who then seemed to just leave. He thought nothing of it. Eton watched this as well and stood still and sighed.
"I'm sorry about that Tania." He said with a warm smile. "I'm glad your back."

OOC: Return of the epic post III! Rana leaned against the wall. He was still tired from killing the dragon, and the confusion of the hours afterwards had blurred. He took a breath and let himself relax, expanding his mind across the inn and felt comforted by the white noise of people's living. Tania... He whispered, Are you sick? Exhausted? He wondered what it had been like for her, to die and come back. What the afterlife had been... Far outside the inn, a group of soldiers trudged through deep snow to catch up with the rest of their battery. They were transporting heavy turrets and catapults to an unknown destination an incredibly roundabout way, but as far as they knew war was coming. They consoled themselves with the fact that they weren't yet fighting. Or doing anything, for that matter. Simply carrying goods... One of them stopped and raised his hand. The others halted as well, mumbling in annoyance. "Shouldn't we try and catch up?" "We're an entire bloody hour behind..." "Come on, captain!" The man who had raised his hand shook his head and sighed. "Listen!" He belted, "I know we're behind where we should be. I saw something moving ahead, and I've heard enough stories about Snies and other monsters I don't want to deal with." He adjusted his light armor and the heavy fur he was wearing over it. The stuff was uncomfortable, but he believed in military discipline. "March slowly!" He yelled. The small group grumbled collectively and started moving again. The captain was the only one who had seen movement. Five or so minutes passed before the captain raised his hand and turned around to face his men. "Right, something is following us. There's footprints or something like 'em, and they're big. We're hanging out here." "Captain! We're too far behind!" The group rustled with annoyance. " Shut up, all of you!" The captain was turning red. "I know we're-" He paused and stared behind his unit. "By the gods..." The men all turned and gawked at what was happening. It looked as if wind had picked up snow and was spinning it around, but there was little to no snow on the ground and the weather was warm. Tiny, black specks twirled and tumbled over themselves down at the bottom of the cloud, slowly attaching to one another and building onto what looked like a foot. The men stepped back, surprised. Some drew their weapons as the foot grew an ankle and another foot began to form. The feet were massive. Soldiers drew their swords as legs developed, then a body, then a bony, beak-like head with a strip through the center and two glowing orbs that could have been eyes. The creature's body was giant and cyclopean, its skin like thick, rippled black leather torn in hundreds of places. Where its skin twisted there were what looked like tiny, red hot embers. Its back was hunched but the creature was still easily ten feet tall, and it had great, clawed, pilose hands that were thick and bony. Two fleshy, blood red wings were folded behind its thickset arms and colossal shoulders. The demon flexed its arms, then turned slowly towards the petrified veterans. An arm reached out towards the closest, who backed away but tripped on his feet. The demon's hand sped forward and gripped the man's head, then lifted him high into the air. The soldier cried out in distress and wave his sword, but it did little to nothing to the monster's skin. The demon drew the man closer to its eyes, observing momentarily before squeezing. The man's eyes bulged before his skull shattered and the creature's hand closed, blood dripping from its fist. A strange, crabbed noise came from inside it as it tossed the body like a rag-doll into a tree behind it. The demon stepped forward, and the men broke into chaos. Most struggled to run, but were pushed forward by those who were readying their weapons. The captain raised his sword, wavered on his feet, then dropped the weapon and ran. The demon swiped at and crushed the men under it with ease, moving with a speed sickening for a creature of its gargantuan stature. The risks were too high to go back right now, so Alice prepared her dagger, holding it backwards while bending it forwards; while with her other hand, she immediately tore her blindfold off, letting her hair fall a few more inches downwards, and revealing her red eyes, which looked as though they were tearing a few moments before. ".. If it charges at us first, we'll split directions.." she said. They were already at different sides of the beast when Alice ran there, so she walked up to be as close to it as Julius was, making it obvious which direction they should both go. She wasn't quite sure if she was ready for death, but quickly convinced herself to stop emitting any fear.

Julius noted what direction that Alice was headign and acted accordingly, however the Snie also noted this, readying for a counter secretly. Julius went in for an attack first a quick thrust to the creatures neck. The creature took the blow, but not to the neck, but to his soulder instead, and countered by grabbing Julius's arm and pulling him closer to it, grappling him. From there, it but down, engulfing Julius's right shoulder blade, sank it's fangs down into him. He let out a heavy cry of pain.
"ALICE!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. as he felt the blood run down his arm.

Alice was already halfway into sprinting up to the beast, and made a quick swipe with her dagger at its corneas, hoping it would be painful or blinding enough to distract it. A split second later, she tried to yank the beast's mouth open enough for Julius to escape, but she didn't know if she was strong enough. She also tried kicking its torso at the same time. "Don't give up yet! You still have your other arm!" she yelled, hoping he could help somehow, too.
OoC: Your choice if it hit the eyes, and if Alice was strong enough.

Alice's stab had hit it right in it's eye, causing it to bleed and become permanently blinded in it's one eye. It opened it jaw's wide in pain and even wider as Alice pulled it's jaws open. Julius fell out of it's mouth holding his arm which was bleeding pretty severly. He looked for his sword as he was downed. He was breathing heavily and frantically. Then Alice's next kick conencted pretty hard to the creature, knocking it off it's feet, it did not get up immedietly as it rolled around in severe pain and let out a cry.

The beast was screaming helplessly, and was obviously vulnerable, but Alice knew it wasn't that weak, it could have been waiting for her to get up close and pull off a feint. She noticed Julius was looking for his sword, but he couldn't find it, and with the few spare moments they had to recover, she tried to help.
".. Can you still go on with an arm like that, and being limited to your weaker one?" she asked, she didn't know if he would still be efficient enough to do anything in that condition.
Alice was still managing her breaths, breathing in her nose, and out of her mouth, and was plotting several possibilities. If the beast would quickly rise up while they were still looking for the sword, she would have to throw her dagger at its neck and have a few more moments to look for it, if it didn't, then everything should go smoothly. But she realized Julius's arm would be a problem, even if they would win, she had no medical knowledge..

The creature got up and then began to flee in the other direction half blind and injured. It knew at thsi rate it would be killed. Julius lay on the ground breathing heavy yet. His arm went numb with pain.
".. Can you still go on with an arm like that, and being limited to your weaker one?"
"It....it hurts." He said whimpering. He felt pathetic. He couldn't save Charisma, let alone himself. "I'm......such a waste...." He muttered turning his head away from Alice.

The creature got up and then began to flee in the other direction half blind and injured. Out of all the possibilities, Alice considered this the least likely.. she almost felt lucky. When recollecting herself, she saw Julius, with a face no one couldn't pity.. She heard him muttering something, but all she heard was 'a waste', and that was enough for her.
"Don't lower yourself that way, Julius, if it had went for me, I'd have less one arm" she said, with a tone of gratitude. You've done enough, even being attacked by the beast was extremely helpful..
Then something struck Alice. The blood from his arm was still going, and to make it worse, it was tinted with a dark green, which meant that the beast's fangs were poisonous, as her sense of smell was telling her when she was trying to yank its mouth open. She had no medicine or bandages, so all she could do was rip a part of her skirt off, and tie it around his arm. Staying here would be dangerous.
".. I can carry you back.. but if you're a proud man, I believe you can just walk with me." Alice was trying hard to make him feel better, but her lack of social skills made her sound indifferent.
