Exactly. I was looking at my old sprites, and I realised that I was really limited to JUS, so yeah it was time for action.

I think the 3rd guy has too much shadow from his headband. (Comparing it to the first two guys, then the first two guys should have shadows too made by the hair)

That was bothering me too. But I wanted to fix Chopper first. Considering him 'fixed' now, I'll fix Usopp (the 3rd guy).

Edit: tried to shade more under the hair of Sanji and Damian and tried to reduce Usopp's shading under the headband:

Sogeking is Usopp's alter-ego. Watch the Water 7/Enies Lobby arc for more information (It's one of the best parts so far)
