i attended a tournament today!!! it was super exciting, i barely even got in. the rules kinda sucked (first round was 5 min, 3 stock, items on, omega only, FFA, later ones were the same except 3 min and 1v1) but i'm still proud to have won!
The first match, it was a FFA. All stages are Omega versions. I played as Marth, against a Pikachu and two other opponents I can't remember. I won with two stocks left (three total, five minutes), I even taunted as I had the superspicy curry.
The next match, it ends up they swapped to 1v1 format. Omegas on, items still present. Me as Sheik vs Sonic. It was a one sided match, they only got 23% on me and I was up two stocks before they gave in.
Next match was Link. I did really well, I think I did 2-3 stocks but this was one of the less memorable battles
The match after that was Mario, who was probably one of the biggest threats there as I have trouble against Mario no matter what character I used. I managed to come out on top a stock up when the time ran out.
And, at last, I made it to the finals. I still played as Sheik, it almost seemed one sided to be honest. They played Bowser, I ended up three stocking him and getting first place in the tournament!
I got a small trophy, a Smash Bros belt, a Smash Bros bag, and two pins! I'll upload the picture when they do.
