I got windows 8 after months of saying I'd never get it.
Honestly, I like it a lot, really smooth and more efficient than win7 in most cases...
for me, anyway.

Haha, funny I thought that was a problem too, until I saw the NEW start menu, better than ever: And it opens/closes the same way as the old one: by pressing the windows button. I can add and remove apps from tiles as I please.

Why are you acting happy about having that terrible-looking ricer s*** forced on you? Why do you think that excuses not even having the option to use the old start menu?

I think it excuses it because OBVIOUSLY I think it actually looks good I understand some people are afraid of change, and that's normal But I like this new one - simplicity and minimalism really clicks with me besides, there are apps to add the old menu back if I really wanted it so there's not much of a problem there

There is a problem when you have to go do something yourself to get the old menu back instead of not having the option built into the OS There is zero reason for the option to use the old menu to not be there, and it not being there is 100% s*** Also, what the f*** are you talking about? You want something that has "simplicity and minimalism"? Try the old start menu, then, because that's certainly a lot more simple and minimalistic than the new s*** Windows is forcing on you.

I guess that's true. but if something that minor is the reason you dislike an entire OS, then you need to re-evaluate some things in your life and I wouldn't say the old menu is much more simplistic. Honestly, the new menu is just a bg image with links in the form of tiles. click to open. sooo complex. there's no extra things you don't need unless you have a bunch of junk apps pinned to it. Just don't get win8 if the MENU ALONE is that big of a deal.

lol i knew that joke would come eventually if you don't know, you can remove tiles with two simple clicks (right-click > unpin from start) you can also add any shortcuts you want like the taskbar, so umm yeah

that doesn't change the fact that it's taking up the entire f*** screen when there's no reason for it to be

I kinda agree with that, but this kind of menu wouldn't work otherwise... it really doesn't get in the way though. windows 8 requires so little spec wise and runs so smooth, it's just worth any other little prob you might have.

Anyway, getting away from your retarded opinions and getting back on to the actual topic:
Today I remembered my laptop has a HDMI port so I hooked it up to my TV, got into my bed and had one comfy-ass anime watching experience
