It's based off a nintendo series bud. Not only that but they've added plenty of characters that are unofficial, the roster is set in stone because its THEIR GAME they've finalised what THEY WANT in THEIR GAME. If they took every fans wants for characters into consideration, the project would never be done.

Quit trying to rationalize your s*** posting with s*** reasoning, no one is taking you seriously at this point and you're not showing them any reason to, I think literally every single one of your posts is about daisy. It's getting old.

Back to speculating please.

I hope that if Ganon gets in he has a unique moveset, it'd be fun to see what they could come up with.

To further add to this, there was an openly published roster that was scrapped around 2011-2012. The devs said that "any character who was already added to the game will not be cut from it". I imagine the devs are being closed off about the roster for two reasons.
1) To fuel speculation.
2) So they don't get a colossal amount of hate for certain characters (aka fan characters, Rock Lee and a few others)

To be honest, I'd welcome almost any character addition at this point. The only thing I really don't want to be in this game is too many semiclones. Like Reset Man said earlier, characters need ALOT of sprites to be made, and I wouldn't want all that effort to be wasted on similar movesets.

I don't think they would settle for anything less tbh, if they're going to spend a huge portion of their time, they aint gonna do it on a clone, it just doesnt seem to make sense. Semi clones though, idk. Im thinking like Yung Link and like maybe any other FE char.

The only semi-clones I could see getting in are Falco, Lucas, Wolf, and/or Young Link. The rest will probably be DLC.

Toon Link is superior to Young Link in every way (sans the fire arrows, but who actually used those?).
Has a more distinct art style than regular link, pretty much giving him more liberty than Young Link, which was just a weaker version of Link in every way.
Just give Toon Link the fire arrows and a more distinct down special and you're golden.
Although, if Young Link was added in his Majora's Mask version, that'd be cool.
