Question, why would you use a tracking ability on a confirmed town player?

Possible answer: to see who he recruited. Pachino hasn't really told us who he recruited.

That's actually a very good point.

Last night I decided not to protect anyone to check if the Mafia were actually foregoing their kill. I figured that them taking anyone but Pachino out would play into 194's plan by reducing the pool of suspects, while losing Pachino in case they did kill wouldn't be a terrible loss because... well, he hasn't made very good use of his confirmed town status. I think we can confirm, then, that the mafia are intentionally no killing in order to try and force us to lynch at a disadvantage. This does, however, help us in a roundabout way. 194's plan hinged on the mafia killing for fear of letting Geno's investigative abilities run amok. Evidently, they do not perceive this as a threat, and I think I know why. We already know that Geno's ability investigates safe claims, as was demonstrated when Axel came up as Jane Margolis instead of Victor. I went back and read the Victor role, and nowhere does it state that he had godfather-esque powers. Logically, then, we must assume that Geno always investigates safe claims. Applying this knowledge to his past investigations and assuming that Geno is town, 194, Apple and Cactush remain possible suspects.

I'm beginning to wonder whether scum 194 might have already taken all this into account when he proposed his ''plan''...

I assume you are referring to the Axel analysis. Now that I actually have time I should be able to finish that.

Actually, Brik, I'll be honest and say I hadn't.

If you are absolutely sure than Geno's ability investigates safe claims, however, then Geno should be put into scrutiny because:
-Who makes a role which can only investigate safe claims? It's not useful at all for the town. In fact, it is more likely to bring problems to the town because you get no relevant information for the only thing that kind of ability (Flavor Role Cop) is useful: to verify safe claims
-If the ability doesn't exist why Geno has it? And more importantly, how did he know Axel's safe claim?

Because I investigated Axel and got his safe claim. None of us actually knew his safe claim until he himself said he was Jane Margolis. Don't go twisting words around.

And TOWK makes a role that investigates safe claims. It fits perfectly with the naivete of my character. My role was probably made to work in conjunction with 135's, who we lynched. You're hunting in the wrong direction. Twisting words won't get you anywhere either.
