Tania's eyes widened at the blood trail and how they lead to the door. She felt slightly faint and was afraid of what she'd find inside, but she needed those lances, besides if there was anything inside there was always her pan. Her palms were sweaty, one held onto the pan and the other to the handkerchief that covered her face. Her face was slightly pale, though she knew she could trust Tekun if anything attempted to attack her. She poked her head pass the doorway then entered the armory cautiously, he arm twitched, ready to strike down anyone or anything with her pan. She looked around to see what lances she could find within.

Windy was no longer following Tania Black King had floated down of off a draft and landed near her, something about him seemed like he was troubled, which was understandable, since she didn't like this place at all herself.

"Where is your mistress?" asked Windy curiously.

Violet heard a sudden hissing noise coming from within the armory. "Hmm...someone trying to drown out my lute playing with maracas. Well two can play that game" She strummed her lute louder and picked up her tune, she sang louder, she was determined not to lose the person inside to another performer. She would claim the money the person would give her and then skip off to the next time. Violet was not a quitter.

Barbas stopped, letting the woman to continue running. Aiming one of the ice imbued arrows towards the door. The instant the door would open, he would fire his bow. The arrow would head for it's chest, Barbas was attempting to freeze the beast. He squinted his eyes as he awaited the creature to burst through the door. Head tilted up, and arm kept steady. "One shot." was all he muttered to himself.



Charisma shook her head. "I'm not sure." She began. "What if we can't find anything close enough, and we end up starving or? Or what if we get lost completely? Or worse, get attacked by another one of those wyvern things.." She sighed, turning to Dragon Fang. "I know it isn't safe, but I think it's the best we can do right now... That other guy is inside, right? I'm sure he's still alive, maybe if we ask nice enough, he'll help up.."

Violet was shocked by the abrupt eruption of the door. The man was trying to escape saying something about a monster, and he grabbed her, pulling along for a bit while she slung her lute over her shoulder trying to keep up. "Ha!" he wasn't going to escape without giving her some type of donation. She chased after the man, her lute slapping her back as she ran. Another explosion. A beast came out of the armory, she ran faster, fear and fun both causing her to run faster, she barely noticed when she ran past the man, he had stopped, and the conditions looked grave. She unslung her lute and began to play a lifting and spirited tune. She felt the magic shimmer in the air around her and the man and once the music and magic peaked she sang the song entitled morale. Her voice echoed in the abandoned village she felt herself being strengthened and feeling quicker and sturdier, everything about herself felt more powerful. She could only hope that the magic had the same effect on the man.

Serene smiled back at him, and wrapped her arm around his body, keeping a grip on him so he didn't fall over. "This is all I can do for support, but it should be enough." she told him, still looking into his eyes, though this time, they were a little more passionate.

Black King looked to the direction where Serene and Eton were. "She's with that piece of trash theif I don't approve of..." he told Windy. He turned his head back to her, "I tried to kill him earlier, but it didn't go as planned...".

J smiled, unnoticed by the others as he was facing away from them. "Well...if that's it, I guess I should be going..." he said, turning to walk towards Dragon Fang. However, he tripped over a rock again, and fell to the ground. "s***!" he shouted into the sky, it echoing loudly. He got up and tried to stand on his leg, but it appeared to be sprained. "s***...just what I needed." he muttered. He turned his head to the Julius. "You have any bandages I could apply?" he shouted to him.

Barbas released the arrow as the monster charged flailing about. The arrow hit its mark and knocked the creature back as its torso froze solid. It fell to it's knees, unable to move further or even breath. It then dropped dead.

"That other guy was about ready to kill us!" Julius exclaimed finishing his treatment. "I don't know if it's wise to trust him."
Then Julius heard a fall and a curse. He turned to Jay. "I have none left really, sorry to say."

A body lay on the ground, leg severed an arm extended, a young soldier. The room was dark and cold, most of the weapons were still there. Tekun stood close to Tania, he was nervous to say the least.

"Take your pick." Tekun said. "Be sure you can wield it though."

"Alright, it'll be enough." Eton said looking into her eyes. "Let's go."

Barbas let out a sigh of relief as the mutant fell over. "Thank god." Was all he could say, moving his arm slowly and placing his bow onto his back once more. He couldn't take his eyes off the beast. "The hell is that?" He walked closer to it, examining it for a brief moment before remembering about the girl. He got up, turning around. "Are you alright?" He asked her, as he walked towards her.

Violet stopped playing and grinned when the man walked over to her, she blew her bangs that had fallen over her face again, and bowed quickly. "I'm fine" she said cheerfully. She then eyed the beast from her position she had no idea what is was, but she lived to tell the tale and that was all that mattered. She then remembered the original reason why she had been running "Umm...about my services" she began "I kind of expect to be paid" she said with an innocent smile.


Tania looked around the armory, her eyes glanced once at the man on the ground and quickly went back to scanning the lances that were lain against the wall. There were so many, and they were all in such good condition, she couldn't wait to choose one as her own. She picked up the iron spear, it was polished and still managed to shine in the desolate village. She twirled it around herself, to see how it felt in her hands, it wasn't too heavy, and was fairly easy to maneuver, best of all it didn't belong to someone who had already died. "Come on Tekun" she said in a whisper, for a reason unknown to herself "Let's get out of here" She exited the armory making sure that he was near her.

Windy's nostrils flared, and she shook her head, causing her mane to flick about her. "You can't just kill your mistress's mate" she said "Think about how it would break her heart, it would be like the time when she lost the man with the shiny sword"

Barbas looked at her, raising his eyebrow. "And what services would that be?" He questioned, looking around. "Seems to me like I killed the damn thing, what exactly did you do?" He asked her. "You did absolutely nothing, and you expect me to give you money?"

Violet waggled her finger and put her other hand on her waste "Hey I played my lovely music for you. It set the mood for your battle and I played my song of morale which boosted every strength and ability you have. So if you don't mind..." she placed her open palm in front of herself "Can't you help a homeless person out?" she added sweetly.

Black King snorted loudly. "I'm doing this for her own good. She can't get mixed in with the wrong kind, I need to make sure of that." he told Windy. He looked around, making sure no one was in the area. "Especially in this group..."

"I'm not really a kind hearted person." He replied. "Besides, I didn't need any extra strength to fire a damn arrow." He added, turning around. "The town is empty, except for the demons and mutants around here, you don't need money for a place like this." He finished off, slowly beginning to walk away.

Windy shook her head "Yes he may be...lower on the social scale...and he doesn't really have a providing job to support her..but let her find that out on her own" replied Windy. "And maybe you'll come to accept their love?" she suggested quickly at almost a whisper.


Violet's eyes widened "More demons and mutants" she thought to herself. "Um er fine then I guess you don't have to pay me besides...you saved my life so I guess I owe you don't I?"

Barbas stopped before turning around. "No, no you don't." He replied. "You owe me nothing. My life was in danger as well, if I didn't kill it, then I would have died. Just be on your way." He said to her, taking a quick look around. "Nothing around, so you'll be fine. Although you should probably get the hell out of this town if you can't defend yourself." He added as he walked passed her.

Violet shrugged "Fine then" she said ending the discussion. She followed him as he went through the abandoned town. She didn't say a word, the lute hit against her back, reminding her that she would need to buy a case for it eventually, or she'd end up with a dent in her back as an old woman. "Might as well leave this town together" she said putting her hands into her pockets and catching up so that she walked in pace with him.
