Vergil looks like spam city, but he's still one of the only things making me want Ultimate.

Vergil looks like a Wesker Dante hybrid with a touch of Karas.

Iron First looks so painfully generic however I can't put it into words.

I just want to see Phoenix Wright so I can stop caring.

I'm a bit suprised Vergil and Iron Fist are rivals.

Vergil = Wesker + Dante. He's a teleporter character with long range attacks. He has some abilities as Dante, but I guess he will work better with some characters that Dante isn't that good working with. That sword super looks really good could help him extend his combos for additional damage.

Put Vergil/Dante/Wesker together, we get "Team Godammit Capcom." Their abilities to rushdown and perform big damage combos without using a super will make them a deadly team.

IRON FIST! Bring dat Hokuto Falcon Shinken power to Marvel!

He's got a combination of Fei-Long, Ken, and SF4 Evil Ryu styles. He also seems to have a stance special that probably increases his damage or allows him to combos special attacks together. I don't see anything that really makes him look Top/High, but he's got a really good damage output and should be really decent in mostly all of his match-ups.

But I still can't wait for Rocket Raccon. Everyboby knows he will be God-tier.

It may probably be me, but is seems like most of the characters in MvC3 has OTGs.

Dante could teleport using Air Trick (Down Down S)

Vergil is just another Dante clone... He has no differ from Dante's attacks at all other than two hyper combos... I was expecting some way different...

I think he can only pull off that last 'brutal combo' when in Devil Trigger mode, so essentially he has 3 supers, and 1 in Devil Trigger Mode.

Not that anyone cares, but I think the last the pairs of rivals are Phoenix Wright and Nova, Frank West and Rocket Racoon.

Nah, the "rivals" are Phoenix Wright with Rocket Raccoon and Frank West with Nova. If you look at the leaked art the slight lighting on the characters match with their pair. (PW and RR's is yellow and FW and Nova's is purple)

Hm, good catch. I assumed Rocket Racoon and Frank would be rivals considering both of their natures: essentially joke characters. Maybe it is wrong to consider Rocket Racoon as a joke character though, I just happen to get that feeling looking at him.

EDIT: Oh shoot, you are correct. Nova seems to have a thing with zombies, so it would make sense for him to rival Frank.
