Considering ZI made an icon for Stickies, we should do something similar for the Popular icon. I mean, it's just the same as the normal icon and there is no difference, so it doesn't make sense to have it (is a default setting from phpBB, isn't it?). Besides, we cannot know which topic is Popular.
Just dare and compare: Normal new posts:  Popular new posts: Normal no new posts:  Popular no new posts: Is there any difference? no, they don't. They basically have the same URL, respectively. _________________  So long, McLeodGaming Forums... |

Does there have to be one? I mean, most forums simply use that code to define any topic with a lot of posts. So the same result can be achieved by looking to the post count.

Not to stick my head where it doesn't belong, but it seems a lot of people want changes to suit their needs simply because they don't feel like going an extra step. It's not that difficult to look at a post count to see if a topic is popular or not. Anyways, just saying. : /

Why wouldn't you make one? It could just be recolored red or something. I understand it isn't necessary but it's not very hard to do either.
