The person who told me just literally ran right down the road and through the door as soon as he heard the news. Sad stuff, poor guy never even got to retire

Yeah, it sucks. I can't really say I was a huge fan, but it is still much of a shock to me. Thriller would sure as hell me my favorite. I was actually at the Department of Motor Vehicles when I heard a woman talking about Michael Jackson going into cardiac arrest, and on the radio I heard that he died. Then I watched the news a bit, it was officially confirmed.

Heard it, had a hard time believing it...
But its sad and true.. His song's were great, and despite his transformation to a Great looking Black-guy to a Disturbing looking white women with...some problems..
I'll miss the guy who created Thriller and rev'd it with Smooth Criminal.
Rest In Peace MJ.

Rest In Peace. Truly you were a charitable man (donated to 39 charities if I recall) mired by your personal problems. Find solace in the fact that someday, you will return at the head of a horde zombies, leading them in a killer dance routine.

How many of you have mocked him when he was alive. I don't recall anyone here supporting him this much before. Yes, it is tragic, and he was indeed one of the most influencial musicians. It's funny how someones death changes things. Call me heartless if you want, but life will have to go on.

My father has all of his records, and he (as well as I) listen them very often. Most of them I love, but I don't show my support for him here before is because you guys don't need to know my business. But one thing is true, life will go on.

If you were a true fan of him, remember what he gave.

DH, that's the most tragic part of it. In seconds, he went from the butt of too many jokes to being remembered for the good things. I swear, I went on Facebook the night it happened, and some kid posted something along the lines of
"no one cares about mj bcuz he is gay!!"
I swear, I almost internet raged.

Well, it annoys me a bit that people just started looking past his later life and looked at only the good things to not look like dicks. I'm not gonna say I don't care that he's dead, but I am gonna say he turned himself into a joke and that shouldn't change just because he's dead. I respect him for what he did in his early life, respect him greatly, but I will never stop facepalming for what he did in his later life. That stuff deserved to be mocked, nothing's changed, he's just not alive to see it anymore. RIP, you will be missed as both sides of the media coin.
