I don't get why people are commenting on the skies realism. I mean it's a house wearing a hat. You can't say that's realistic

I think the first sky looks the best but it makes the background a focus of attention and for that reason, I would use the second one.

Also I think the hat should be made slightly brighter for ease of visibility

basically the house itself is'nt wearing a hat. Actually that's just the construction, but I see your point. I think I'm gonna end up using all three 1. for soft-night 2. for night and 3. for mid-night.

But meh, maybe I'll wait just a little bit longer and listen to some more opinions. Most people seem to want number 2.

Wow Damian I must say, you've gotten really good at spriting.

Seconded.

However, the shading on the green of the house needs some SLIGHT editting. It just looks a little strange.
You need to teach me how to shade water sometime.

:wee: , i got fans.........and i guess i could give you a few lessens if you were being serious.
And i go with the 2nd sky BTW

Very nice job, Damian.
I think that 1 or 2 should be used. It all depends on how much attention you want on the background.

The first one definitely makes the purple flowers stick out more. It also looks better with the bottom foresty area behind the house. Not sure if I'd call it earthy but neither would I call the house ;P

The second one is boring, but works.

The third clashes with the shading, so I wouldn't use it.

That is actually a very good argument. I think I'll keep 1 and 2. Maybe I'll make a new version sometime but for now I'll use 1 and 3.

a house with a head... That's new. I assume you mean 'hat'. Anyway I think the colours are good for now.

Make the shading on the house a little bit more realistic.

The animation itself looks odd... It's too fast also.
