Nice. I never had a Wii U or a Switch so I never got to play as Ryu. Can't wait for him to be released.

his sprites look a bit gritty but im sure they'll be improved on

Really hope there aren't any issues when inputting commands with Ryu on keyboard. Don't want anything crazy happening when I'm trying to do a Shakunetsu lmao.
Yikes. Trying to input a Shoryuken I can imagine is going to be a pain in the rear.

Also, I spoke to someone in a beta tester's Discord, they said v1.2 is going to be released summer 2020. The beta tester themselves however said that there wasn't an official release date yet, so who knows.

^ Not really an SMG4 costume. The white is too "mint" colored and the hat isn't blue like his shirt.

I wonder if there’ll be any command shortcuts for Ryu akin to SF4/SF5 where you can say do DF -> DF or D -> DF -> D -> DF for a Shoryu instead of the actual input.

I think trying to do the command inputs probably will be a pain, but people will probably find shortcuts.

I wonder if in the future Ryu will always face his opponents like in ultimate and sf, but he is awesome in ssf2, I'm loving the character so far, and the imputs are totally fine!
