it's supposed to be about technology, but all i'm seeing is idiots asking us how to fix their computer (because we'll totally know more about that than the people who made it) and questions that could easily be answered through a Google search
there's also some people asking what computer stuff they should buy (which could just be moved to the video game section, since they seem to be asking about computers for gaming)
all i'm saying is: do we really need this section?

Commenting on the Google thing, yes you can get answers there, but its always more helpful to get answers from more than one place. Its always good to have a "second opinion"
Let me provide an example, i created a topic there after i got attacked by malware that rendered my computer inoperable, and people posted results that i did not find on Google. Not saying Google didnt have those answers, but i didnt see them there.

Just because its easy for you, doesnt make it easy for everyone. Besides you should realize that Google can fail to provide a useful answer to your question, even if its worded specifically.

if you don't possess the intuitive skills and intellectual capacity to type in a simple request in google i think your computer problem should be the least of your worries

Sure i know how to word a question but heres what my problem was, i typed in "How do i fix my computer if safe mode doesnt work" all the answers posted solutions requiring safe mode. So i reworded the question to "Safe mode doesnt work, how can i remove a virus" still nothing useful. You tell me how i could have worded it any better than that.
Besides this topic is not about me, now shut up, read the first post, and respond to that like i did.

I don't see how removing a topic is progress. I believe it's fine the way it is.

That sort of stuff technically would fall under that category. I'm not going to be getting rid of it and I'm definitely not splitting it into separate sections, so you'll have to deal with it for now
