Any of you heard of this? Its the fan-made non-profit MGS movie project. It's been in development for years, and like most fanbased projects for anything, had a point where it assuredly didn't look like it would see the light of day.
However, the team pulled through and the film is completed and set to release free to the web in late September. They got Aoife Ferry on the project to sing the movies ending theme. Aoife Ferry is the voice behind the "The Best Is Yet To Come", the ending theme in the original metal gear solid, as heard here Webspot YouTube Video:

Ah, it's good to see some Metal Gear Solid. I found it in my s**** a year ago, and I just started playing it. Very good game.
And it'll be cool to see a movie based off of the Metal Gear Solid series. I think it would be better if they had it as an animated film though, similar to FFVII Advent Children. |

For a fan-made movie, it looks pretty damn decent. And I see they are basing the movie off of the first original Metal Gear, or is it the second game...?

The movie looks decent for being low-budget/fan-made. I just hope they don't pull a lame love interest story between Snake and another character.

Man I was hooked and then it ended. Shame it was only and hour long. I thoughht that Elizabeth person was a lame actor.

I've never really been fond of shooter games, but this movie looks incredible. Simply incredible. You wouldn't think it was an entirely fan-made project.
