Alright, believe it or not that helps a ton!! I'll keep that in mind for future works.

One thing that I find interesting about you mentioning Beginning Anew is that even though it's shorter than the other pieces it has a clear intro, development, and closing without any obvious repeats like most of my other pieces. I suppose a lot of my pieces are made to be loopable, so if I focus more "linearly" that could help.

less knowledge there is of a song, less likely you can mess it up, considering not alot of people know it

i was planning to be all smuck and say i know the song you're talking about....but Alltp is one of the few games I don't have yet....

What piece from Terranigma were you thinking of?

Hm... it sounds like a mix of Sealed (but faster), Crysta, Ressurection and something else (the battery ran out...), I think. :?

There are many I like, but the top five is:
Underworld
A Hero's Awake
Overworld
Crysta
and Evergreen
in no specific order

Be jealous, I have the whole soundtrack in mah mp3 player 8-)

Cool, that game's got some nice music! I don't even think I've heard of that game until now either. Although I don't hear anything resembling Beginning Anew to me in terms of melody, I suppose the style is a bit similar at times

Probably, or I may be confuse, sometimes it happens :P But I'll listen to every song and if I find anything really similar I'll tell you. By the way, I have .mid and arranged versions of most songs and one guitar cover version too, Terranigma = <3.

Wow, having all the mp3's and MIDIs, you must really like that game!

And K.K. Bossa wouldn't be too bad, but remember I would mostly be doing an acoustic-like cover so I wouldn't really call it a "remix". Re-mastering is a better term.
