Well, you can animate .PNG's but like SlashDuffIzzy the resulting file must be in .GIF format. Flash allows you to put the .png's in order of play but then you must export as a .gif - which is quite annoying because .png's would have the potential to be great if they were animated but I guess the filesizes would be enormous.
