tech gadget watchamacallit stuff. help me.

hi im frooty

so uh i'm actually a complete newbie when it comes to tech stuff. everyone's throwing around words like gpus and pcis and processors and hz and i have no idea what theyre saying


okay so anyway

i'm using a extremely prehistoric compaq presario sr1820nx. go google that for specs and such

yeah i know i should probably get a new computer lol but i can't afford that right now.

is there anyway i can somehow upgrade this thing in terms of like running games and stuff okthanksbye

According to the official HP website, you're running Windows XP. Windows XP is no longer supported, and you're really gonna have to stick to running older games. You can also apparently upgrade to 4GB RAM, but honestly, it's not worth it since your video card most likely doesn't support DirectX9.0c anyways. You might be able to run a couple indie games though, VVVVVV ran just fine on my old computer. (which had similar specs)
