Eh I prefer the backburner. The extra damage is nice and I don't see myself needing the air blast all too often. As for favorite class I guess I would choose the Scout. Man I just love that speed.

Have you ever been having a long distance fight with a soldier, compression blast it in such a way as to rocket jump towards them flying with your flamethrower out (and possibly even return a rocket in mid flight), land having set them on fire mid-flight and then kill them with the axtinguisher? With the backburner? No, I didn't think so Degreaser > Backburner I haven't done that stuff mentioned earlier either. But it's a possibility. Motto is axtinguisher + degreaser does sufficient damage (heck, OHKO's most classes that aren't overhealed) to kill anyone you've snuck up on. I used to think that compression blasts were overrated, but they're perfect for dealing with just about anyone. Knocking off cliffs, disorientating, returning rockets/sandman balls/flaregun pellets (possibly arrows if you're that good)/grenades/JARATE etc, saving burning teammates, keeping scouts and spies away.... The list goes on. (Try 'em out on Doublecross. The FTP noobs often don't catch on.) _________________ |

JARATE! But yeah, my favourites have been changed due to online play, I'd say Heavy, Medic, Spy, Sniper, Scout and Demo-Man. My main that I use most would be Heavy. |

Team Fortress 2 is extremely balanced that's one of the whole friggin' main points of the game. If some classes were better than others do you think the game would have nearly as many people who like it? _________________ But in all things their must be balance.
