there's no flaming in this topic in case you haven't heard, so unless you actually have something constructive to offer to the discussion don't post, please.

But it's an opinion about a Sonic game, you have no right to stop it.

In any event, I think the gameplay's gonna be repetitive remote waggling, and the sword will definitely slow the game down, regardless of what Sega said..

but he didn't even offer any reason or actual discussion material. if you think it's bad, what you should say is "I don't think this game will be good because (key word) such and such reasons". not this "Black knight will be lame". note how he just meaninglessly flamed the game

There was an interview with Sega and the new main series sonic game (Sequel to Unleashed) is in concept part of developement. (Meaning we probably won't see it until late 2010 or early 2011). The new game will remove gimmicks like the werehog. It will be strictly sonic unleashed style speed levels. There will also be tails, knuckles and other characters but they will be only optional for extra missions. The Sonic levels will have more careful platforming like in the original 2D games where you had to slow down to make careful jumps through obstacles. It looks like Sega is finally ready to make the perfect Sonic game!

hmmmph. this was my only problem with the old games. i don't like to slow down ever. but maybe i just have A.D.D. I always like how once you got really skilled in a sonic game, you can get through whole levels without letting up on the control stick/pad.

anyway, this sounds fantastic. though it almost falls into the "to good to be true" category. do you have links to the interview or articles? in other words: proof?

*edit* they had better release a Wii version and not water it down like they did with Unleashed! otherwise, I will have buisiness in japan

I don't mind you posting your opinion. Just say why. That's the difference in discussing and flaming. unless i'm confused on the definition of flaming, which I don't think I am. and you didn't have to fruitlessly try to justify your post. what you could have done using the same amount of effort is said
"oh, okay. my reasons for thinking this game will be lame are blah, blah, and blah."
then everyone would be happy and we could move on with the discussion.
