So.

We finally have news of Bowser's changes to SSF2. He looks pretty b0ss, but I'm scared of some of his attributes.

I prefer SSB4's sound effects/voice to Bowser. He feels more cartoony there, and he sure looks cartoony in this iteration of him. Bowser never really sounded like a killer machine in the games.

HE BETTER BE A KILLER MACHINE IN GAMEPLAY THO. :goku:

Bowser's recovery needs a buff, honestly. It covers less vertical distance than it deserves to. Its horizontal recovery is fine to me though. His Neutral B looks. Bad. How can someone get caught in the attack when it has so little range? I think it should also be angled, so better edgeguarding?It would be so better for him if they made his dash speed fast like SSB4-he even has the same animation. It would make him so much more aggressive. Also, Luigi dying at 68% from his F-Smash... idk if it means Bowser's F-Smash is that strong or Luigi is that light. Prayers his F-Smash is just that strong. Because that endlag bro. That endlag. :?

Also, did anyone notice how Bowsercide has less range...

Everything about Bowser besides what I said above is pretty great. I'd complain more about some of his laggy attacks, but in the Dev Blog today it was said he had a fast U-Tilt/Dair. I know I talked about SSB4 Bowser many times, but he's the best version of him besides PM.

Bowser looks good to me, I think it was just the player more then anything.

Yeah from what I got, his Brawl/Melee move set was finished, but his dashing and colors got the 4 look which I kinda wary of.

Luigi dying from Bowser's f smash at like above 60 or something if fine with me, Luigi died off the top because he was always kinda floaty in the main games.

I do have to agree with Fire Breath, it looks like it could use better effects as well.

For Flying Slam to work, he has to have to the opponent next to him thanks to Koopa Klaw being a part of his move set.

So, since Bowser was stated to be the hardest character to sprite, I'd say the chance of Giga Bowser showing up is <1%. What do you guys think his new final smash would be?

He probably might show up since its been over a year since Bowser was revealed. However, certain characters have had their final smashes changed so I wouldn't mind if we see a new FS.

I'm hoping for Giga Bowser, TBH. As it's been said, it's been over nearly a YEAR since Bowser was revealed for SSF2. I'd be a bit surprised if Giga Bowser wasn't worked for that period of time.

As much as I like GB, I'd personally prefer that gargantuan spriting effort go to more regular characters.

Like I said, they said Bowser was the hardest character to sprite. Giga Bowser would be that and then some.

Well we got giga robo for chibi robo, but he wasn't controllable and didn't have a move set so I guess that's different. However, they do scale the character models so it might happen.

Wow. I was watching some Smash Con stream footage, and Flame Breath looks absolutely bonkers. It seems to be a single-hit kill move, more powerful than many Fsmashes in the game. That's terrifying. :blackmage:
