I'm currently reviewing my album for the day, but if you want, I could make some quick thing in Flash for this thing you're talking about.

Album 3, 9th Nov: Reasoner - PrologueAmbient / ElectronicI spent significantly less time on my review for this one, because I kept forgetting I was meant to be doing it. Click the album art to listen to an eight and a half minute preview of the album. I found this album, from Newgrounds, ages ago. It was the first album I ever bought. It has a lot of piano in it. There's piano playing throughout just about the entire thing. If you really hate piano for whatever reason, that might put you off. I hadn't listened to this album for years, for some reason. I don't know why, it's really good. You can't listen to the album unless you buy it, and it's not exactly popular, so the majority of it isn't even on YouTube to listen to, which kinda sucks. You can get it on iTunes, but it costs a lot on iTunes, for a 37 minute, 9 track album. Also, except for one or two tracks, it's a very upbeat album. There's only some small details that I'm not a big fan of, so I'd definitely recommend it if you like more ambient electronic stuff, and pianos. - Favourite trackOvertureOverall rating8/10

i.e. not assimilating every album into hybrid theory and moe ost's that was kinda cool, wish it was more lush sounding, but it's not bad!

Lun by Destiny PotatoPreview: LunaticThis is the first in a series of four albums in a row that I added purely based on Nixter's recommendation. Our tastes are fairly similar (if yesterday's NeO sperging wasn't enough of a clue for you), and I thought it'd be neat to have a few albums that I know absolutely nothing about going in. I've not listened to previews of any of them. So basically this album is p much a nu metal album with a little experimentation in it. I'll be honest right up front, the nu metal sound/writing/guitar tone are immediate turnoffs for me. There are a few tracks where it has a nice atmosphere and some cool ideas, but those tend to be the less standard ones - like "Machine", or the intro track. The preview has a nice groove, but overall their standard sound doesn't really do much for me. I can kinda see what Nix was saying about them implementing a Devin Townsend-esque style to some of their songs, but combined with their sound it doesn't really impress me. The album isn't really "hard" to listen to, but although their less standard parts are cool, I find their sound in general kind of unenjoyable. It's just not something for me, I guess. Sorry dude Rating: Okay-Bad yeah but u still have to promise

The Black Skirts - 201 Korean indie rock Another bilingual album, this time korean and english(one track is english/spanish) This is a really pleasant album with some pretty notable tracks. Nice indie pop rock. A lot of upbeat catchy songs, great sounding vocals, light listening. No tracks are bad and I can listen to all of these tracks multiple times in a row. The lyrics are nice, simple in english and korean. Overall it's a nice album that I can't say anything bad about. Very enjoyable! 8.5/10 It's hard to pick a favourite when I love all of the tracks so much. If you want some light indie rock and don't mind not understanding half the lyrics try it out!!

damn, sorry to hear, I hope Twelve Foot Ninja does a better job, despite being similar... :C now for my review: Xerath - I So I'm pretty far behind on this band, they already released their III album not too long ago and I'm just starting on them, they're a symphonic groove/progressive metal band, they combine film score like backgrounds with chugging riffs, guttural vocals, and fast pounding drums. Well, that's exactly what you get. I've heard their other albums II and III are more varied from this formula, but I wouldn't know. So this album has a plan and sticks to it, you get your strings, you get your standard chug and some riffs and maybe some clean vocals here and there. If you don't like the first song then you won't like the album. For me, the album grooves pretty well, and the orchestral is a nice addition, it doesn't blow me away, but it's still fair in it's own right. I would say I enjoyed it, it's a fun short album (only 40 minutes) and doesn't pretend to be what it's not, it was more of getting the hang of the combination between the two styles and I think they did alright. I'd rate this album a 6/10 not bad, a bit better than average, but nothing super exciting, I can see lots of potential in their other albums, so I will be checking those out

So I just realized I'm listening to the albums in the wrong order, lmao. Anyways, sorry for not reviewing, and missing some of the albums. Been a busy beaver lately. EDIT: Also here's my updated chart, if you wanna include this in the OP Term.

i have a cold ;< also i listened to my saturday album and my sunday album today, so i'll be reviewing both of em Martina Topley-Bird - Quixotic Martina Topley Bird has done vocals for groups and musicians such as Massive Attack, Chris Clark, Gorillaz, and Tricky. I very much enjoy her voice. It's a bit high, and I can see why some people wouldn't be into it, (sometimes she sounds like one of those really british people that are constantly making an effort to show that, yes, they are indeed british) but I've grown to love her voice over the years I've been exposed to songs she's been featured in. I didn't really know what to expect going into this album, I was guessing she was gonna do something sorta trip-hoppy, seeing as Tricky and Diplo were both on the LP. I wasn't really wrong, but it's kinda inconsistent and it changes a lot. Some songs are groovy and beat oriented and some of them are pretty much just straight up rock songs. It's not really distracting or anything though. It's fine. Martina's vocals are definitely the highlight of this album. They outshine most of these instrumental tracks, as none of them are really show-stealers. Some of the instrumentals are interesting and appealing, but for the most part they just sort of do their job. They're there. This album was fine overall, it didn't stick out to me that much. It also feels like it drags along a bit too slowly. It's only like 50 minutes but I feel like a lot of these tracks could've been removed and the album would've been better. I love Martina's voice but I guess I just find her more interesting as a guest vocalist. 5/10. It was okay. She's very prevalent on Tricky's Maxinquaye, an album that I can definitely recommend listening to instead. Favorite traxxx: Ragga, Stevie's (Days of a Gun), Hours Away. Miles Davis - In a Silent Way I like Miles Davis, even if he's considered to be "baby's first jazz" or whatever. Kind of Blue is a decent album and he's a respectable trumpeter. This record's a lot more quiet and reserved than Kind of Blue, and it's more subtle and progressive as well. It's easier to listen to as well, I think. This is probably the most enjoyable MD album I've heard. It's melodic and fun. The organ parts kick some serious a**, too. Miles' trumpeting is superb as usual, and everything feels pretty on-point without being boring or predictable. There isn't a s*** of improvisation going on or anything, but it's still pretty good. It's a definite contrast to Herbie c***'s Sextant, a record I listened to a few days ago. That album is more hectic and all over the place, and this one's more stable and calm. Both records are pretty cool, though. I liked this record. 8/10. There's only two tracks and I liked them both. Here's a link to the first one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WiZnmLOcHEg
