but the casual fanbase is much, much larger than the hardcore fanbase
i'd be willing to bet roughly 40% of the online players at the least don't occupy boards regularly like a lot of users in this topic

and even then you've got people who don't play online at all and people who do occupy boards and like the casual side of the game better

there's always gonna be some assholes who go on "for fun" and play like it's the olympics and ruin the fun for the people who just want to sit down and play some f***' smash without having to "git gud"

i love pick up and play games, i really really do and i'd hate to not enjoy a game only for someone to tell me "git gud"

Actually, you can have whatever settings you like in With Friends. It doesn't need the Fun/Glory split. That's only for With Anyone
