As far as I know, you can get them either on Smash Run or Classic mode, and you can get for whatever character you have unlocked, but there are more chances for the character you are currently playing

Hmm, alright. Still curious if you can get duplicates. Gonna be a huge pain unlocking all of them if you can.

I'm with you on this. I'm glad Falcon got buffed, but I wonder if he will be considered good as the metagame changes. http://www.ssbwiki.com/Captain_Falcon_(SSB4)

I'd put money on duplicates being a thing, considering duplicate trophies and stickers have been in previous titles.

Well seeing how easy it is to get custom moves and such when playing I'm guessing that theyll be duplicated....and that's going to be a pain in the booty Btw how many Gold do you guys have?

Y'know, aside from getting a week's head start, I'm not seeing the point in the demo code hype.
From what I've heard, if the vanilla demo is the same as the Japanese one, it'll have 30 uses. It comes out on the 19th, and the full game comes out at midnight of the 3rd, which I'll classify as the 4th for simplicity's sake. That's 15 days, meaning one could turn the game on twice a day, and that's not counting the people who'll just keep the game on all the time. Then again, I'm getting the full game day of release, so I'm probably a little biased.

Your logic eludes me, that would still be the 3rd of October. I really don't see much use in getting a demo of a game that's a little more than 2 weeks away. It just seems like its way too close to the full release to really warrant getting it. Do you have to pay for this demo? I'd assume yes, and if so, how much is it? I don't think its really worth it to spend money on something you're just gonna throw away 2 weeks later, even if its not much, but that's just me.

Okay, I meant the midnight after the 3rd. Friday night. Saturday the stores will be mobbed with people who didn't download the game online instantly. And no, you don't ever have to pay for a demo. Why on earth would you think you have to pay for a demo? That's retarded.

The head start basically just give us a one-week bonus to get more coins. Also, for those that actually main one of the 5 characters, it's their fiesta day playing as their favorite main characters 21 days before the release of the game, that's how I see it. Unfortunately I don't main any of the current characters so I'm preparing coins for the full release.

Forgive me, I havent played a demo in ages since I dont really like them so I didnt know. Oh well, still, its seems pointless to get this thing when the full game is so close. Ah I see, I guess that's a pretty valid point there, didnt think of that.

villager's tree is like, the foundation of his metagame, and it's really fun to dilly with it but still, like I wanna play as some dopey kid. so dumb. bad character choice
mega man is vastly underpowered his neutral A should go full screen, I don't care what anyone thinks
having his forward tilt be the same exact move doesn't make any sense why would I want to move forward while using a short-range projectile that does no knockback or damage at least make it so he can strafe you know, shoot while walking backwards or something
link is actually decent oh my god
Mario is Mario, Pikachu is pikachu

villager is probably the best character in the demo, pika and mario are both really really strong as well, would both be top if not for villager just being kind of silly. link is good too, much better than he's ever been before. mega man is pretty crap lol
