What are yall guys' prefered alcoholic beverages? I haven't really explored much so some of yall opinions would be neato on what should I try next

So far I know Asahi's my favorite cheap beer, cider and red wine in general is good (don't like white wine though) and bourbon tastes like Robitussin

I've been kind of wary of vodka recently coz last year at school there were quite a few cases of vodka induced alcohol poisoning in my year group. However I don't really drink to get drunk (which is what they were doing) and I'm already starting to use it in cooking anyway so I might as well take a swig next time I make a stew

Aren't apple bombs like some apple pie-esque dessert?

Anyway I've never actually properly considered mixing liquor till now. I've had something similar to Angry Orchard but never tried Fireball before (or any other whiskey for that matter. Apart from bourbon, which is foul). When mixing liquor in general should I try the components separately first or just go straight for the combo?

step 1: pour beer glass with beer half-way
step 2: pour vodka into a shot glass
step 3: drop vodka glass into beer glass. try to make as big a splash as possible

i don't have money or drink more than maybe twice a month at the very most though so there's nothing i really "fall back" on, i'm usually trying something new
