I guess Lucas was an exception.

There's absolutely nothing on this, but yet another "leak" was shared on smash boards having to do with the master hand and crazy hand pic today, saying that 2 more characters are added, Isaac and Wonder Red.
I'd love for them to be in, but again, nothing on it so

Wonder Red was already shown as a trophy, and it'd be very un-Sakurai like to tease a character like that.

Maybe we'll Bandana Dee or Captain Toad?
Bandana Dee is becoming one of the main characters from what we've seen so far, and Captain Toad is getting his own game.
Of 'course, I'm pretty biased.

Buy both versions of the game and get two obscure as s*** characters the general public will be vaguely familiar with at best

I'd hope not for Captain Toad. I dont have anything against him, but we already have 6 Mario characters, I dont think we need another just yet.

I don't want to see any Mario characters added in smash for the next 60 years. This game made me hate the Mario franchise so much it's not even funny. I'm sick of his stache, go away and those 1000 mario games per year...

It's more like "I don't want Mario to overcrowd my smash games in the future" I'm good with the roster, as long as they remember Mario isn't the only franchise in the world

I think there was some confusion as well, when I mentioned Captain Toad I was referring more to his new game possibly helping him get an appearance in Smash 5, because I have pretty mixed feelings on DLC. If it is more Mario reps as DLC, I'd be a bit disappointed, although I will still appreciate any character they decide to add. Same feelings on another Kid Icarus character.

I hate to defend the overcrowding of Mario Characters, but they each have a unique playstyle/movepool (ignoring the Dr), and really, THAT is the important part, not the series they come from. As long as the characters are interesting/fun AND that particular nitch CAN'T be filled with a similar character from a different franchise there really isn't a reason to complain. Oh and of course the series is Super Smash BROTHERS, as in the MARIO BROTHERS.
