For my upcoming game, I have a set number of lives. During a duration of 2 seconds I need it to count down 1 time. In Visual Basic, I need to use a Timer for such and it has an interval of 100 milliseconds.

I need 4 to go to 3 without going over during those 2 seconds.

google things like time functions in vb.net, if you've got a good IDE you can get a list of functions as well

its also hard to understand what you want; you phrased it pretty badly

So you can't figure out that 10 of those intervals is equivalent to one second?
