List of them: MS Power Point Really great program it has premade sound and you can use sound that you made. Note: after you press save as web page upload the Shout Cut to the Published Animation on your site.Star Office ImpressIt's kind of like a Star Office Power Point, but it is hard do get the sound working FlashI never made Animation with this due that my people who are watching the Animation can't Pause,Fast Forward ect. Note: your people need Adobe Flash player to WatchWindows Movie MakerReally the best way to make Animation so stick with Windows Movie Maker. Note: After publishing you just need to link it, but if you want your people to watch it on you site go to http://www.youtube.com, and enable onto your siteMax ShowGrade School Version of MS Power Point. I used it in 2nd grade. It is not good for Animation. Note: Due to it is design for 7-8 year old children at school, you cannot publish them as a webpage but you can upload the doc as an attachment and your people can download them.

No but you can go to paint to draw it then put it there.

Then wouldn't that invalidate Movie Maker as an animation program?

yes really, MM has about (at least) one picture per second or thereabouts - doesn't make animations. Also Powerpoint presentations can't export animations you make as a .gif or the equivalent

Ah, I remember some fine animations I made with movie maker and paint. Well, they weren't that good, but they were funny Zelda spoofs. Ah, well.
Also, Flash is the way to go for unprofessional animation.

True. I'd just go for something with Frame by Frame animation, OP. It's really the only way to get a desirable effect in 2D.
