Slender: The Arrival is an indie horror game made by Blue Isle Studios and Parsec Productions, and scripted by the MarbleHornets crew, Troy Wagner, Joseph DeLage and Tim Sutton. You can buy it for $10, $15 for it and the complete soundtrack, and $20 for the game, a complete soundtrack, and a few HD wallpapers.

You are a woman named Lauren who is in the search for your friend, Kate. As you begin to find pages and notes scattered around the area, you start to unravel mysteries as to what happened to Kate and what is happening to you. You search through a house, the woods, and even a mineshaft.

It is now in version 1.06, last I heard of it, and here are some updates:

Version 1.03:
-Added a new, secret level in Chapter 1.
-A few minor bug fixes.

Version 1.06:
-Added the level: Genesis.
-More bug fixes.

Chapters:
There are 6 chapters in Slender: The Arrival, 1 of which is based directly off of the ORIGINAL Slender: The Eight Pages.

Chapter 1: You go to Kate's house and find out that it was for sale. You investigate until you hear a scream coming from the woods.

Chapter 2: You search the area of the woods, in a Slender: The Eight Pages style game. You have to avoid the Slender Man and collect all eight pages.

Chapter 3: After being chased by Slender Man, you wake up in the middle of a field. You go to investigate and find an abandoned mineshaft. Once in there, you have to activate 6 generators. Not only are you chased by Slender Man, but also a proxy called The Chaser.

Chapter 4: A flashback sequence where you play as Kate and have to lock 8 doors/windows to not let Slender Man in. This is almost impossible to do, but either way, you have to go to Kate's room in the end.

Chapter 5: After watching the flashback, you investigate further and further until you find yourself enclosed in trees that are burning, and a very aggressive Slender Man.

Chapter 6: The original game itself, you play as a young Kate, as mentioned in one of the notes in the game. When Slender Man catches you, he says, "I have plans for you, Kate." This reveals that Kate is in fact, the Chaser.

I have played this game before. It's quite fun. You should try it.

If you REALLY don't believe me, that's your fault. But what the hell, I am not judging people.

I wish I could say that Slenderman is officially a dead meme now that they've decided he can talk all of a sudden, but the truth is, he's been dead for a very long time. Maybe it happened around the time somebody decided a girl from a Skrillex music video was working for Slenderman.

In any case, it's a bad horror game based on a bad crappypasta. Finding eight things before the monster man gets ya is overused, repetitive, and absolutely the worst way of padding a game, and that ends up being the entire game after level 1. That level one is just build-up and scene setting, which is great and all, but really, is it worth it when the rest of the game is shlock? I can pay $10 for six levels, or I can just download six Slender clones for free. Guess which one will at least have some more variety.

Two words: Terrible Ending.

Here's why (Spoilers for anyone that cares, i guess):
If you beat the game on a normal difficulty or lower, you get no ending and it just sends you straight to the credits and menu. If you beat the game on the hardest difficulty, you get this very weak 7 second clip ending which doesn't explain or build upon what happened after this build-up of the game trying to jump scare you. You then get sent to the credits and menu.

Ahhhhh, another wonderful example of how memes on the internet work. Something Awful, an actual good site, has a photoshop competition to make ordinary photos look scary. I saw it was originally from SA somewhere, so I guessed it was from a photoshop competition and I looked it up now and I seemed to have been correct. So anyway, someone posted some photoshopped pictures of a slender looking man walking around stalking kids. One thing leads to another it's on creepy pasta and then through a game blah blah blah.
In other words, the further things stray from something awful the s*** they get.
My other point is he didn't originate from Creepy Pasta. Probably the reason why he has redeeming qualities.

Anyone who didn't think he was smasherlink is retarded. One of the things he said in his long explanation was that he didn't care about the details because he got a free account out of it.
I mean, jesus f*** christ.

Never doubted he was Smasherlink. He's way too obvious about it.
