boomerang is only broken if you can't hold a direction and if you can't hold a direction well why are you playing a fighting game that might be kinda hard

Personally, before 0.9B, I wished that the boomerang would be like the boomerang in PM since it made it wouldve made it much more easy for me to chain my combos.

But after 0.9B... Well.. you can refer to the GIF in my sig. :-)

Come one guys, the boomerang isn't that hard to get out of. DI into the boomerang or above it :P

The boomerang would be useless if you could DI out of it so quickly that nothing could hit you. It's meant to be a setup tool as well as a general projectile.

The general reaction you should have against a boomerang should be to shield/dodge if possible. If not, get yourself as up in the air as possible, and DI up or down depending on the height of the tornado (just get out of there ASAP) if the impact is unavoidable.

Boomerang has its fair amount of lag, so if your opponent is spamming boomerang, you might be able to punish by basically rushing him (first avoiding the boomerang), then shield/dodge/jump to avoid the round trip tornado. It also has a noticeable startup animation, so one can predict it with practice and experience.

Its also important to know that the boomerang's wind hitbox either goes through shields or is really good at shield stabbing.

At most, the boomerang can take human players off stage, but rarely outside of stage box. Though it can happen.

My other videos mainly have Link and Marth content so you have an idea what the boomerang can do even in online.

I think these problems with links boomarang and link himself being weird is because of the input lag


but thats just my opinion
