Eton looked at Serene who was getting up, he put his hand on her shoulder and whispered into her ear.

"Serene, get rest....I....don't want you to get hurt any further...I know....what happened. Let....let it wait till tommorow." He said and hugged her. "Please."

"Tania, if you have any other blankets, get them out." Tekun said. "Then bring your pegasus to the back. We need room. The cave should suffice for shelter and should be warm enough." He lay his head back against the wall, his sword sheathed, laying against his side. For the first time in a while, it felt like home for him. Maybe.....just maybe he would stick around yet.


Julius never got a response from Charisma, he figured one was not needed. He was tired.

"Charisma...thank you." He said solemly. "I....think...it's safe to sleep now..If someone was looking, they'd have found us by now."

Serene looked at Eton's face. All the rage and anger left her when she saw him. She looked into his eyes as well. "Eton...there's something I would like to tell you..." she started whispering. "...well, tomorrow at least. I'll tell you tomorrow..." She slowly lied back against the wall, and turned her head to Balck King, who stood by her. He seemed rather annoyed by something. She looked and saw Windy. "Black King...you'll never get rid of your hatred towards othee pegasi, will you?" she thought

Tania nodded, making sure not to make eye contact with Serene. She whistled and Windy came in she pulled out her other two blankets and two smaller sheets out of the riding pack on Windy's back. Windy snorted playfully at Black King ignoring his glare and then sat onto the ground. Windy rested on the ground beside Tania while she handed out one blanket to Tekun and her own blanket to Serene, as a sort of peace treaty one sheet to Tara and the other to Eton. She made sure that Rana was snug in his blanket.

"You can sleep under Windy's wing if you want" said Tania while crawling under the other wing. She pulled herself close to Windy's warm body as she did not have a sheet or blanket for herself. "Good night everyone"

Tekun put his blanket ontop of Tara, he wanted to make sure she was warm. He knew his cloak was good, but not as warm as one would like. Eton looked at Serene, waiting for her reaction. He still held on to her.

"You can tell me now if you want." Eton said hoping to calm her down.

Barbas was out of the village with the woman. Gah, all that work.. And I lost my gold. Oh well.. I'm not a mercenary anyway. I'll find another way to get some gold. She was still passed out, and in his arms. In the near distance he saw the three from before. The man, the woman, and their son.



Charisma nodded. She closed her book, yawning in the process. "Nighty night." She said to him, lying down and covering herself with the robe. She used her right arm as a pillow, lying her head on it.

Serene looked at him again. "I don't think I could do it with everyone around...unless you'd rather hear it now..." she said, looking around the room, to see who was asleep and who was awake. "It's just some feelings..." She kept thinking how she could express her feelings to him, it was getting hard for her to think of something good.

Julius felt a pull as he watched as Charisma pulled the robe closer. In order to stay warm he had to move closer unfortunently, making him uncomfortable. It appeared she was already asleep as well. He was only a little closer.

"Good night." He said as he lay his head down on his bag. Hoping they would live to see the next day.

Eton's hears perked up. He believed he knew what Serene was talking about.

"Feelings." He said looking around. "I think I know what you mean." He said giving a warm smile. "I'll understand if now is not the best time to say it. For now, I need you to rest. No fighting, lest you injure yourself." He then gave a quick look around the room, Tania, Tara, Tekun, Rana, Nechia, all asleep. He then turned to Serene and kissed her on the cheek.

Serene was surprised. She'd never expect Eton to kiss her first. She blushed, and tried to say something back to him, but all she could do was smile at him. "Good night..." she told him, trailing off slowly and falling asleep.
Black King slowly knelt down and brought down his wings. He was a rather selfish Pegasus, and kept his wings for himself, unlike Windy, who let others sleep under them. He remembered what the other pegasus did earlier, and snorted back menacingly, even though the other was asleep. He closed his eyes, and went to sleep as well

Eton lay down, his back turned from Serene, facing the fire and the cave entrance with the blanket wrapped around him. He had confirmed what he thought. He fell asleep with a smile on his face.

Rana shuddered as his eyes opened. They shut again as he remembered what was happening. He didn't know why he had passed out like he had though. Perhaps it was stress? No. The injury? It was only a damaged shoulder. Rana clawed at a piece of the blanket that had fallen away and pulled it close to himself. He was cold. He was never cold.

Eton stirred as the sun shined dully through the clouds lighting up the valley. The fire was still going. It would appear someone tended to it during the night, his guess was Tekun, who was asleep against the wall. Everything was quiet and calm for once. He got up and streched. The others would be getting up shortly.

During the night, the family took the woman off of Barbas' hands. He continued to wander, making his way to the mountains as he did so. "I think I'm lost.. Even with this map." He said this, every twenty minutes or so. Not sure where he was heading.



Charisma awoke after the long night, she didn't sleep long as the sun shining in her face awoke her. She opened hey eyes, her vision was blurred. She blinked, her sight clearing as she looked over to see Julius. He was closer than he was the night before. Although only a bit closer, she wondered why.

Windy's eyes fluttered as the sun's rays fell onto them, she shuffled her wings causing Tania to stir. Windy stood up, while Tania stretched and stifled a yawn with her hand politely. She stood up and smoothed the wrinkles out of her clothes with her hands. Windy walked outside of the cave looking for some small plants or grass to munch on.

Julius rubbed his eye and thenturned his head slowly and looked over to Charisma who was looking at him with a perplexed look on his face. He realized the robe had been pulled more and the fire had gone out and wondered how he ignored the fact he had been cold. He deiceed he would address the look Charisma was giving him.

"Morning." He muttered and then opened his eye's a little wider. "What's......wrong.....you look at me as though i've done something."
